Reservation Policy & Tuition Payments
All clients must register for classes via our
Online Scheduling System or by phone/text at 925.980.5683 to reserve your space. Walk-ins will be accommodated only if space is available.  Tuition may also be paid for in advance by visiting our Square Online Store.  All tuition payments must be paid in advance of services and are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Wait List
We highly recommend putting yourself on the wait list if you are trying to sign up for a class that is full. As students cancel, students on the wait list will be notified via email that they have been added. We'll do our best to call and confirm, but please check your email if you are wait-listed.

Cancellations/No-Shows
If you know you cannot make your class reservation, kindly cancel it so others can take your space. You have up to two hours prior to class to cancel, but please do so as early as possible to avoid a small no-show fee.

If you no-show or cancel less than two hours prior to your scheduled class, you risk forfeit your reserved class or may be charged a small no-show fee of $5.

Private lessons have a 6 hour cancellation window.  If you cancel after the 6 hour window, you risk forfeit of the scheduled lesson.

We know that sometimes the unexpected happens, if you cannot cancel online just give us a call or send a text at 925.980.5683 or shoot a quick email to alegriaballroomdance@gmail.com

Dance Etiquette

Please be polite and supportive of all dancers. Remember that we were all beginners once.

Please try not to criticize or correct other students.  Let the teacher do the teaching.

Sometimes we have odd numbers of leaders and followers in a class.  Use solo time to practice steps on your own.

Try to dance with as many partners as you can.  Help everyone out, including yourself, by taking the initiative and asking others to dance.

Please keep in mind that ballroom dancing is a close contact activity, so good personal hygiene is a must.  We recommend you bring a dance bag with a sweat towel and anything you need to freshen up before class.  We also provide sweat towels and mints in the studio.

Check-In
Please check in with your instructor when you arrive.  Sign in on the sign in sheet and make sure your tuition is paid prior to class starting.  If it is your first visit to the studio, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out a student registration form, which includes our enrollment agreement and liability release on the back.

Please don't open the classroom doors while the previous class is in session if the door is closed.  There is a 15 minute break in between classes and lessons for transition.  Please wait patiently in the main hallway or on the balcony for your class to start.

Late Arrivals
Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in and take care of any necessary tuition payments.

If you arrive late for your class, please enter quietly, so as not to interrupt the instruction, and remember to sign in!

Cell Phones
For the courtesy of our teachers and other students, cell phones must be silenced and put away during class.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you for your cooperation!
